Internet of data: fundamental rights in the context of the IoE and big data

Sharing genomic data for research purposes can benefit both the individual as well as society as a whole. Genomic data is however also sensitive data and as such needs to be protected. Responsible sharing of genomic data for research purposes therefore requires careful balancing between the potential benefits and risks.
